Awful Advertising...

So a humanist group up in Washing D.C. decided for this CHRISTMAS season, that they would do an advertising campaign buying ads on buses stating "Why believe in a god? Just be good for goodness sakes!". Does anyone else see the extreme hypocrisy in this?

We all know very well that if any Christian group were to buy advertising for the public to see that said something to the affect of "God is THE ONLY way to salvation" everyone would be up in arms claiming that we were shoving religion down their throats! Why is this terrible humanist message any different? Why aren't people getting super offended about that?!

If we (people who believe in God) get into an uproar, it feeds into the "shock factor" the humanists are hoping for.

It's immature and unnecessary. Yes. There are Christians who are just as offensive, but I also doubt their true motives. Jesus didn't walk around offending people...he walked around loving people.
